WHY THE TAJINASTE?

Environments are important socializing agents in people’s lives because we live, grow and interact in physical spaces.

This project doesn’t only help us to get to know the island of Tenerife and the nature that characterizes it, but also one of its most unique species, the Tajinaste. With this contents we aim to spread its beauty throughout the 5 continents.

TAJINASTE: Generic name given to some Echium species in the Canary Islands, usually endemic. The name tajinaste, a Guanche word that means needle, has lasted until our times.
